Get active and inspired on National Schools Action Day

On Wednesday 21 June, join schools across the UK as they get active in a day linking exercise with climate action.

Let’s Go Zero National Schools Action Day will promote a range of climate themed-challenges and activities, and is a great opportunity for students to get moving and explore their passion for sustainability.

The day will take place in unison with Running Out of Time’s Ben to Ben relay. Ben to Ben will be the UK’s biggest relay, running 2,500km across 50 towns and cities in just one month. Thousands of people will pass the baton to inspire the nation to take collective action towards Net Zero.

The action day will also help schools take part in #ShowYourStripes – a fun, active and colourful way to get students thinking about climate change, forming a human picture representing rising temperatures.

Our downloadable pack includes more information about both challenges, as well as ideas to help plan your day, such as  this Earth Cubs assembly. We’ve also got tips and material to help you share what you’re doing with other schools and your community.
