Who are we?

Working together

The Climate Action Countdown has been created by Let’s Go Zero, the UK’s largest schools climate campaign. The Let’s Go Zero coalition are 15 organisations, with a membership of 1 million people. Together we are taking on major climate challenges across curriculum, campus and culture. We work for a fairer, greener future for young people and the world.  Let’s Go Zero is supported by over 2,800 schools, with more signing up every week. 

Let’s Go Zero Coalition

Let’s Go Zero brings together a powerful network of organisations: WWF, EcoSchools, Global Action Plan, Sustrans, Soil Association, Carbon Trust, Fairtrade, The Tree Council, WRAP, The Young People’s Trust for the Environment, The Green Schools Project, Ashden, Surfers Against Sewage and Energy Sparks.

The Climate Action Countdown is also supported by the National Education Nature Park partnership, Running Out of Time, University of Reading, Earth Cubs and Great Big Green Week. 

What’s on

The Climate Action Countdown includes loads of fantastic climate events including Great Big Green Week (June 8th – 16th) ; Show Your Stripes Day (June 21st)  Clean Air Day (June 20th) ; and the London Climate Action Week 22nd – 30th June. There are plenty of micro climate actions too!
